Pet Store Issues

So I've had issues with the pet store for so long but for some reason the new items that come with the Pet Store don't show up in the register. I have tried reinstalling multiple times and it still does not work. Does anyone know any way to get this to work? I just want to buy the new items from the actual pet store register. 

I have the legitimate version of the store as I bought the LE Pet's EP when it first came out. Also idk if this might be connected but when I hover over the Pet Store register the item name that gets highlighted multiplies a few times on top of eachother if that makes any sense.

Also does anyone know if the new items are meant to show in the Pets section of the catalogue? Because they don't show up there either. The only way to get them is to go to the store section in game and click on the collections folder there of the Pet Store.

    wexxam  I don't actually know whether the items are supposed to show in Build/Buy, but it looks from what I can find online that they're only supposed to show in BuyDebug.

    For the issue with the pet store itself, try installing it into a clean user folder.  Move or rename the existing Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, install the shop but nothing else, load a new save in Appaloosa Plains, place the shop, and send a sim over to have a look.  Let me know what you find.

    If this works, but you have enough other Store content that you don't want to have to reinstall everything in the new folder, there's a way to combine this new install with your previous content.  But it's a bit tedious, and not completely reliable, so only ask for it if reinstalling everything else would be a burden.
