Pets stuck on preparing
Glad some people are able to fix theirs, I have had Pets for a long time and now it is having the same problem and not downloading. Very frustrating going through hours of posts, trying everything suggested including things like run EA app as admin, from the video like "try installing direct x and Microsoft visual c++" which also hasn't worked. Hoping someone from EA can fix my game not downloading, stuck under "preparing" then getting the error after 2 minutes of preparing to download, now isn't even allowing the download to attempt to start after confirming to try and start downloading.

It sounds like you only have the Mac 64-bit versions of Pets on your account- if you're now playing on PC, you'll also need the PC version of these packs in order to install and access your content.
Live support can help get the PC version of your this pack added to your account, please contact live support from the help site here so they can take a look with you. I'd also recommend you attach this AHQ conversation when you reach out there so live support has further information to reference.
