Random teleporting?

Question

My sims where just talking, no cheats or anything on, I don't have the 'Into the future' expansion , and my sim got the action in her que 'teleport me here' or something along those lines, i couldn't cancel it and she teleported out of the building. ??? I have no idea whats going on, can aliens do that to you or something? There was the noise and light around her aswell.

aliens came with the seasons expansion pack and the aliens attract the sims to go investigate mysterious anomaly (the lights) the action cannot be cancelled then the alien returns your sim home your sim will then have a abducted moodlet which lasts about ten sim hours there is also a 50/50 chance for a male sim to have an alien baby after abduction
