"Regional install code" error

Help - My family have moved back and forth between New Zealand and Australia. How do I install a Sims expansion (World Adventures) I brought in New Zealand when my other Sims 3 regional installs are Australian and I get a "Regional install code" error. Does this mean my disk is useless to me?
