Resort attendants issues/not showing up

For either of my resorts 🏈, I can't get any staff members to show up and I cant review my finances; things Ive already tried:

- selling a resort and checking in days later and waiting but no one ever shows up; kept trying for hours still nothing

- completely bulldozing the same/same resort lot and buying all new items and rebuilding it different but still, no one shows up after opening the resort again

- tried testingcheatsenabled true and then going into building mode and shift + click on the front desk and I can change the shift times for the front desk but again, I cant edit/add/delete any staff members and no one shows up

- spoke with EA Support, rep wasn't able to find a fix and advised me to post on this forum since theres no known workarounds

The issue started on 09/23 when my expansion Island Paradise glitched and removed itself but still showed downloaded - I spoke with support then and after repairing the game, I got the expansion back however I didnt noticed this issue at the time. Now, I'm stuck with how to fix this - it's not urgent because its just a game but I would like to fix this; I know this has been a known issue since around 2013 so Im hoping this is something you're able to fix for me!
