Saving in Sims Bin

Do you mean you can't install things you've downloaded from the Store/Exchange or you can't save houses/sims ingame that you made ?
I can't download from the exchange and I can't save houses that I build and sims that I create in the copy file or bin. (In the game). Note took WA off, but then I reinstalled my games I have all the Expansion Packs. Does not having WA installed have anything to do with this?
I took WA off because of the code 12 issue. I would appreciate any help that you can give.

No, it doesn't matter if you have WA installed. You won't be able to use any savegames that were saved with WA but other than that, that has no influence.
When you save the sim/house to the bin, do you get a message that it's exported and does it show in the bin before you close the game ?

Exchange issue: Does it not download or not install ?
When I download from the Exchange it does not seem to install at all. The saved lots or sims in the bin looks like it is in there when I save the game but then when I go back into my game nothing is there.The only thing that is in the bin is what came with the game. I still have my lots, but nothing I put in the copy bin is there.
