Sim will not get pregnant

My sim will not get pregant in the Sims 3. I have tried multiple times to try for baby and not hearing any chimes or jingles. I have university installed so I can check if she is pregnant or not by seeing if it is grayed out but I had no luck. I have also tried with multiple males but with no luck either. My sim is not close to being a elder nor is she close to her birthday. She is a young adult and has just turned one. There is only 5 sims in the household with no pets. I have also tried to reset the sims as well. Cna anyone help me? I really do not want to lose the sim.

@xxnearlyperfectx  A fairy should be fine, but I've heard of sims having problems conceiving with a werewolf who's currently in werewolf form.  So that's worth checking: you can switch households to view the werewolf, then quit without saving if you want.  I'd also try with another human sim, just to check; you don't need to save here either.

Please also delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 user folder.  These files can retain stale data and should be deleted every time you quit the game while you're troubleshooting.  For reference, they are:

    • CASPartCache.package
    • compositorCache.package
    • scriptCache.package
    • simCompositorCache.package
    • socialCache.package

If the above steps don't help, try evicting the sim and placing her back in her house.  (You can do so separately from the other household members by splitting the household.)  She'll keep her job and relationships but lose her promised wishes and opportunities.  After you do this, use "save as" to rename the save, then quit to desktop and delete the cache files again before reloading.

  • @xxnearlyperfectx  A few questions:

    • Is the sim currently on vacation?
    • Does the sim have any occult status, or is she transitioning?
    • Has she tried for baby with a human sim?
    • Do you use mods, and if so, which ones?  Please don't link them, but names are fine unless they raise the game's rating; in that case, just name the creator.

Thank you. I figured out what was wrong- basically the sim was in his werewolve form and was ready to age up to a elder. It is all okay now. Thank you
