Sim won't interact with others. Help?

A child sim won't communicate with anyone else and no one can communicate with him. I click on him and right click for options but it says "no interactions are available." I've tried deleting caches and thumbnails, running without cc, and evicting him, but none have worked so far. Help please?

Are you using mods in your game ?

Is the child the only Sim you can't interact with ?

Did you try resetting him with the cheat resetsim firstname lastname ?

Did you but on free will? If they free will is turned off then your sims will just stnad their. Or if you typed in testingcheatsenabled true and clicked on the mailbox and made the sims needs static then they will not interact with one another, they will just stand their.
