Sims 3 and Nvidia Inspector

Hello! So I had to download the sims 3 on another computer and the fps are not able to be capped through Nvidia Control Panel. I therefore downloaded Nvidia Inspector (version 1.9.8.7. © 2022) to try if I can cap fps through there. But I am not able to see the panel where you are supposed to be able to change the settings. Have I downloaded the the wrong version? I beleive that the one I have used before had © 2014.

  • @Venefica99  I don't see the option there either, and to be honest I have no experience, even secondhand, with either the old or the new version of Inspector.  The option might not even exist in this version.  So I'd suggest using a different tool instead.  RivaTuner Statistics Server works well with Sims 3 and is very lightweight, if you'd like to try it.  Here's what it looked like the last time I used it:

Choose TS3.exe for an EA App install or TS3W.exe for a disc or Steam install.  Set the fps limit you want (red box) and choose to start RTSS with Windows or not (yellow box).  RTSS does need to be running while you play in order to enforce the limit, but it has almost no impact, and you can minimize it to the Tray.  You may also need to restart your computer after installing it and before trying to use it.
