vkinjecta malinvallstrom Please rename or move the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, and see whether you can install one item into that folder. If it works, you'll need to rebuild your user folder, as described here:

If it doesn't work, try a different item in another clean folder, preferably something from the Store (not the Exchange) so that we know it works properly.
