I am having some trouble redeeming my Sims 3 games on my new device.
I previously bought Sims 3 expansions (Ambitions and World Adventures) as CD-ROMs a number of years ago. I have also bought other Sims 3 expansions through Origin.
Recently I bought a new PC, however my previous device is very old (and unfortunately in storage a long way away at my parent's house). Upon purchasing my new PC, I downloaded Origin, along with all my other Sims 3 expansions (the ones purchased through Origin). I then tried to redeem my 2 older expansions through the product codes. However, it says the codes have already been redeemed. I didn't think this would be a problem because they had been previously redeemed through my same Origin account.
I assume it wouldn't work because they are still linked to my old device. However, I got my parents to open up my old computer, delete Origin on that computer and my old Sims 3 game files. However, it still won't let me redeem the product codes.
Does anyone know how I would remove the games from my old device, or refresh something, so that I can redeem them on the new one?
Thanks!

@sherlocked42 The product codes can only be redeemed once, and deleting them from the original computer doesn't free them up for later use. However, the packs should already be in your game library, just like the ones you've bought digitally. Have you checked to see whether you can download them? Click on the Sims 3 icon in your Origin game library, select More > Expansion Packs, and see what the orange button says under each one. If it says Download, then it's as simple as that.
If the button says Buy Now, you'll need to contact EA customer support to ask what happened to the packs you registered. It would help to take a photo for each pack showing the disc, the case it came in, and the insert with the product code showing. You can upload these photos directly to a live chat session.
