Sims 3 crashing back to desktop within a hour of play

To anyone that can help me! Haha...here goes: I have Windows 8 and I have TS3 + Pets, University, and Showtime: Katy Perry. I used to have those plus World Adventures, Late Night and Ambitions insta...

    Seems you have a dual-graphics system. You have a Nvidia 660M and a Intel graphics chip. The graphics chips drivers are very old and could do with an update. Not sure about the Nvidia one cause that doesn't show in your DxDiag.

    Check if your graphic card is properly recognized by the game:

    Make sure it's not running on the Intel while you play the game.

    Okay, I was playing TS3 and it just crashed again so I checked for your response on the thread here. I went into the Nvidia Control Panel and changed the sims setting to operate on High Performance Nvidia Processor instead of the "Use global setting (Auto-select Nvidia GPU)" option that was already selected. Let's see if this works! Fingers crossed!

    Hi, im following this steps too because i have the same problem and it shown this:

    Number: 0
    Name (driver): Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
    Name (database): Mobile IvyBridge GT2 [Found: 1, Matched: 1]

    So.. im following the steps but i cant do this one: 

    "Open GraphicsCards.sgr file"

     

    - How can i open that file? which program i should use?.. i cant open it

      Since you have found: 1, matched: 1 that card is recognized.
