my sims 3 game keeps crashing both in create a sim and the gameplay. it’s really annoying me now because it’s not as if the game is laggy and then crashes it just works fine until it doesn’t then the whole thing closes. anyone have any ideas please? xoxo
222lozza Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Do you use mods or custom content? It's fine if you do; I just need to know.
If you do use mods or cc, please move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
