Sims 3 Files/Cache Issues?

This may be complicated as I have never heard of someone experiencing this. I did something to my game by deleting sims 3 "feature" pictures off my one drive and that totally erased ALL my content (custom content and store content). After I reinstalled my missing content, I played my game but it started crashing and froze while saving. Before I uninstalled and reinstalled all of my expansion packs/stuff packs and base game, I tried to clear caches. My caches don't let me open them and it says "class not registered". I'm not sure if caches should even be openable but it didn't even say .package (unless i double clocked it and the error message showed up as .package). So I just reinstalled my games and the cache is still weird and I am missing some files, such as SavedSims and little stuff. I am not sure of more files will pop up the longer I play but I am afraid of it still crashing after uninstalling/reinstalling.

@xNoor12x  Are you talking about OneDrive or one drive? Are you talking about a folder Featureditems or "feature" pictures? If you deleted a folder that is needed it could cause the program to crash (probably). Do NOT clear cache files unless you are really, really sure it is ok to do so. Cache files are usually buffers that contain code and text that is usually (about 99.9% of the time) not readable by a text editor. What cache are you talking about - what folder was this cache was in? At this point I am concerned you deleted files for the operating system (maybe hidden files). DO NOT DELETE FILES UNLESS YOU MAKE A BACKUP SO YOU CAN RESTORE THEM!!! The first thing I was taught in Introduction To Data Processing was the three words BACKUP and BACKUP and BACKUP.  To even begin helping you need to post your computers dxdiag - link - how to post dxdiag  To help you, you need to be precise on what files and/or  folders you deleted. What and from what folders you you did what to what cache files.

    Here's what I recommend:

Does Origin run? If not you need to unistall Origin

reinstall Origin and try to run Origin - you need to get Origin working before you work on the game.

Uninstall ALL sims 3 base game AND packs

delete any user data file in the c:/user/(your user name)/documents/Electronic arts/sims 3 - this is user data and this folder is recreated after the first time the game runs successfully

download ccleaner (there is a free version) and clean the registry.

get the digital download of the base game from Origin - Origin needs to patch the base game to version 1.69 - this may take some time - Origin has to download a patch and install the patch

AFTER Origin is done try to run just the base game. If the patch is complete the game should start.

My game worked fine and the "missing" files, such as world cache, showed up. Now that everything is working fine, I am paranoid about deleting files to clean up my game. My PCis brand new so I don't believe much needs to be cleared at the moment. But files in DCCache that are labeled "missingdeps.idx and dcc.ent  (I heard) are safe to delete, but I also heard touching this entire file is a no no. Also, with windows 10, the package files don't say .package. It just says "package file" under file type. Also, I heard it was ok to delete .bin in SigsCache, which again, I also heard is a no no to touch that file as well. I know I sound paranoid but if I must clear my PC in the future, I don't want to go through uninstalling/reinstalling my game because I deleted something wrong. Thanks in advance!

P.S. All the files I mentioned above are in KB which I know is little to nothing and takes up barely any space on the hard drive.

@xNoor12x  If you don't understand how the game works I recommend you leave the files alone. If the game is working deleting most files that can be safely deleted usually aren't that big to make a difference and may just get recreated anyway. You can look at the files properties or open a command prompt to see the files extension. File extensions are usually 3 characters and "package file" is just an expansion of a .pkg file. BTW 1000 Kb is equal to 1 Gb. Most gamers should have a little more then a casual knowledge of the operating system they are using.

I know I'm not great with computers, but the info I was telling you about KB was what I heard from someone who understands computers lol. So what you're saying is it isn't necessary to remove these files? It won't speed up my game much I'm assuming (even though I have little lag. It only lags a tiny bit because well...it's sims).
