Hi, I went out and bought Supernatural today. I went to install it and it went fine but it won't run properly or have the launcher open. I'm tried downloading it a hand full of times but it never works. I've been working on this for over three hours, normally when I install a new EP it works fine. I dont know what to do. Please help.
What is your base game version right now ?
Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.
If you're not at 1.63, please update your game.

A few questions to start.
You mention that you downloaded the game but then you also say "none of my other games work when I put them in", which makes it sound as though you have discs. Do you have a mixture of TS3 games on discs and some as digital downloads?
If you go into Applications (not Documents) and look in the folder called "The Sims 3", do you see icons representing all of the packs that should be installed, or are any missing?
