Sims 3 game won't launch
I bought a digital copy of Sims 3: Seasons from GameStop and downloaded it through Origin.
My Sims 3 launcher is saying "Unable to connect to Origin."
I press play, and the launcher window closes but the actual game screen does not come up.
I run Windows 7.
I have checked my Firewall, it is set to allow Origin through.
My Sims 3 and Origin both register as up-to-date.
My Origin and Sims accounts are connected as far as I know.
The email used for Origin and Sims is the exact same.
What can be done to fix this/what is wrong with it? Is there an actual number I can call for an actual tech?
This is the SECOND time I have posted my problem of being unable to connect to Origin on the support site, the first time being almost a year ago. No support was given then. And I really don't want to be short $20 because of a game that won't play and GameStop doesn't do refunds on digital downloads.
