I recently purchased 2 expansion packs for the Sims 3, but I have many expansions and content on my Steam acct. Can the two expansions I just got register on my Steam acct also?

mamasitabee No, you can't add EA App-owned packs to your Steam account. However, you should be able to register your Steam-owned content with EA, by using the codes (called CD Keys within Steam) either in the EA App or on www.thesims3.com. For the latter, sign in using your EA account and click Register a Game at the bottom of the screen. Then you could use everything through the EA App.
If you'd rather stick with Steam, then you might want to get a refund for your EA App purchases. Say you don't own the base game in the EA App, if it's true, or I guess that you didnt' realize the content wouldn't transfer to Steam, and perhaps a support rep will manually grant a refund.

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
Alternately, try using the help site without being signed in. Some categories of issue allow you to proceed without an active login, and many of those offer the live chat option.
