Sims 3 Infants don't have eyes

This happens across all saves and household that have babies in them. I did have a skin mod installed(Studio Skin NON DEFAULT by Pralinesims) I did try uninstalling it, but it didn't help the baby issue. I also tried to run the game with no CC, that also did not work, resetting her didn't work either. Looking at her while in game she does blink, there are just no eyes visible. The issue does resolve it self at age up to toddler.

@michelle_renee86  You should try a new save to make sure new babies have their eyes again.  The problem with an existing save is that the existing babies' skins can't be refreshed, but new babies born into existing saves should be unaffected, that is if the problem is gone.

  • @michelle_renee86  That's definitely a cc issue, and it's common for this kind of thing to not resolve itself even after you've removed the cc.  Does this happen to babies born after you removed the content?  If so, you might have another copy lingering in your user folder.  If not, then the easiest thing to do is to play the babies until they're toddlers.  The problem is that editing a baby in CAS doesn't always work properly, so you can't just force the game to generate a new image of the sim like you would with an older one.

  • Would I be able to tell if I just ran the game without CC using the launcher or do I actually need to remove all CC from the folder?

@michelle_renee86  The "run without cc" box in the launcher works most of the time, but not all: I've seen cases where teh game won't load even with that box checked but does load if the cc is removed from the user folder.  So I'd remove all the files just to be on the safe side.

  • I will try removing the CC because when I checked the box the game did load but the babies still had no eyes. Should I try it with a new game or should an existing save work too?
