Sims 3 Installation offline

How do I install the Sims 3 without the Internet? And without Origin? I have a PC, windows 8. Also Origin is on my computer, I just don't see the purpose of using it for installation. Or the purpose of the internet for installation, since I never have or will play online. I just want to install the game on my computer, like it used be in 2000 without all the hoopla. Which makes me want to return the game for a refund, because the installation processs is so tedious and certain parts seem unnecessary & should be optional.

    was having the same problem too. but figured it out!

    1. install origin and set up/login to account.

    2. cancel the sims 3 download in origin.

    3. restart computer and open origin to make sure the sims 3 is NOT downloading.

    4. with origin opened, go to my computer, right click DVD drive, and open.

    5. choose autorun.

    follow the steps of installation as before but, this time it will ask for language, like it should do, and SHOULD say copying instead of downloading.

    then the install screen for the sims 3 should pop up and your ready to go!

    @-ea-Terminator82  You can still use the discs but you have to use an older version of your operating system. TS3 was released with SecuROM and SafeDisc. Windows 10 and El Capitan no longer support the poorly supported SecuROM and SafeDisc. The Sims 3 1.69 patch can only be obtained through Origin. When Origin patches to version 1.69 SecuROM and SafeDisc are disabled/removed from the game and Origin (Steam like DRM) becomes the DRM. This eliminates the install limit and you no longer require a disc to play. SecuROM was considered a rootkit and usually caused more issues for legal user then kept the game from getting pirated. I use both Steam and Origin and have no issues.

    I did that and it didn't work it keeps saying install thru origin. Then it tells me to put in a code. When I put the code in it says error.!!
