Sims 3 is CRASHING! I don't care if I have to get a new driver or whatever, just please help!

Also piggy-backing on this topic to say that since recently upgrading my video card to a HD6570 Raethon, I am also having these issues. For the past few days I have gotten along with running at minimal graphics settings, saving every 5/10 minutes, but now we're to the point where it locks up even when saving. 

This is beyond ridiculous.

@OP: Update your drivers. They are pretty old.

@distantvampire: Could you make your own thread, posting your complete DxDiag and also post if you have custom content or mods ? I was confused reading this thread until I realized that there are two people on this thread now. With crashes, it's easier to help everyone individually.

The game does recognize my video card, and that is the only change since the past two weeks - nothing new has been installed or downloaded game wise.
