Sims 3 Island Paradise slowdown performance issues

Hi all, Just wanted to inform people about problems I'm having with Island Paradise. I'm running it with a high spec gaming machine [1GB AMD RADEON 6670 dedicated graphics card, 8GB of DDR2 RAM etc]...

I am also having trouble with island paradise. It's incredibly laggy even when other worlds perform at max graphics settings... I have tried the fixes suggested here with no luck...
I'm very disappointed that there has been no fix for this yet...
