Also, I forgot to mention that I can't download it from Origin because in order to do that, you have to register your game on the sims 3 website, and it won't accept my code even though I bought the game myself, new, from target.
Did you buy the base game back when it came out or did you re-buy it ?
What error are you getting when trying to register ?
I assume it was bought when it first came out; I have the original and I have deluxe edition which is really just the original with the ambitions pack included. However, a friend gave me these a couple years ago and this is the first time I've had such a problem with any of them.
Also, the error when I try to register my copy of island paradise (and into the future), it just gives the standard "this code is invalid." I bought both expansions myself, new, at Target within the last year.
So it's just the Island Paradise disc that gives you the message ?
When you were in contact with a game advisor, did you tell them that you can't register the expansion ? Do you have the base game registered ?
