ilovemycat95 Have you tried a completely clean user folder yet? If not, please do so now: Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs. that is if you can get that far.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Hey, I've tried that but it keeps closing the game down, sometimes I can open the launcher now but it keeps flashing open then closing down or I can open the game play for a short time then it crashes. I've attached the dxdiag thing I'm sorry I am not good at technical stuff 😂

Heyilovemycat95,
I‘m not sure if you gave me an answer to my question so I‘ll ask again: did you tried the Sims 3 Custom Launcher from LazyDuchess (MTS)?
