@MomoDufrasne The DX9 issue isn't showing up in this dxdiag; the errors are all for the audio service and for some failed Windows updates. If you want to address the latter, here's how:
- Hit Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
- After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
- Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
- Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
- Post the message you receive here
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
For the Sims issue, try playing in a clean boot:

When you reboot, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down anything that doesn't absolutely need to be running, audio services included. If you accidentally kill the wrong process, just reboot your computer.
If that doesn't help, I'd suggest a simple test to see whether your Origin account might be the issue. (I've seen cases before where support insists everything's fine but it turns out not to be.) Do you have a friend or family member who'd let you test on their computer? If the game ran, the issue would clearly be your computer; if not, that would strongly suggest it was your account. You'd only need to install the base game, or if they already had Sims 3 installed, you could just sign in with your account and try to launch it.
An alternative, if you have a friend who already owns the game, is to sign into their account on your computer. This is only for testing—I am definitely not suggesting you share accounts and thereby violate EA's terms of service on an official EA site—but if the game launched while you were signed into that account, that would be definitive proof that your account was the issue.
If your account does have a problem, I can flag your post with someone from EA who would hopefully be able to make sure you got the help from support you needed.
