Sims 3 Mac Issue
I've had Sims 3 for awhile now and have just recently gotten a Mac. The regular Sims 3 does not run on my Mac and I cannot find the Sims 3 64 bit anywhere for download.

EveRules1 Is Sims 3 available to download through the EA App? The game tile doesn't say 64-bit anymore, but that's the right version if it installs at all. With the old 32-bit version, you downloaded an installer that you then ran, but the installer was also 32-bit, so it wouldn't work on your computer. Point is, if you can install the game, you have the correct version.
If you can't download or install the game, let me know what you see in your EA App game library.
I could download and install the game with no problem, my issue started when I opened the launcher it just started force quitting. If I clicked the start button or the download button to redownload my content I had before it would just quit before allowing me to do anything. Everything I read stated this is because I needed the 64 bit version to run on Mac, but if that is already the current version that I have then I don't know what my problem with the game is.
EveRules1 The launcher crashing when clicking the Downloads tab, if there's anything in Downloads, is a known issue with the msot recent versions of macOS. This has nothing to do with the 32-bit version. Here's the master thread:

Does the launcher or game crash if you're not trying to install anything through Downloads? If so, remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and try again, this time without adding any content at all. If that doesn't work either, try again but with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi before pressing Play.
