2. You will be prompted to login to your Sims 3 account. If you don’t already have an account, you can register one for FREE by selecting the "Join Now for Free" link.
3. Once you've logged into your Sims 3 Account, Select "Redeem a Code".
4. Under the Redeem a Code panel, put in your 16 digit game code to redeem Monte Vista.
5. Next, go to your Purchase History and select "Download" underneath the Monte Vista icon to install the content.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

Neither of these options worked for me. In the first option, I was told that the code was invalid. And In the second option, Monte Vista does not show up in my downloads.
When I initially tried installing Monte Vista, I would get as far as entering in the registration code, and then I would get an "Oops!" error. I updated all the patches, restarted my computer, but still nothing. Any ideas?

what a nightmare Monet Vista is!! When you buy a disc you expect to put it in and be prompted ... so far ive been asked to put in the code - but the 'redeem'button is there, and you cant click on it. So then i read here to go to sims store and redeem the code that way = whichi did, and waited almost an hour for the download to download so i can install - but then the dreaded red circle comes up saying érror downloading'...WTF?????????

I've done everything and was on origin live chat today for quite some time with no solution. They wanted me to try and update my video card but everything is updated. I'm waiting on chat again because there needs to be a resolution or a refund stat.
Just want to add that I was on live chat AGAIN and the person totally didn't help me, won't give me a refund. They had me going into task manager, and clearing java and doing a million things that didn't work. Then they took over my computer and I wasn't able to communicate with them. He was asking me questions and waiting for a response. My keyboard wasn't able to type a response so I had to shut everything down. Hours on live chat today with no results. I'm extremely frustrated that I purchased something that doesn't work and there is no solution and no refund. I want a phone number to call ASAP.

The fyrst option worked in the end but took me 2 hours to install. Thanks for the help.

i had to reinstall my sims and when i try to install monte vista again it says that i cant because the code already been used so how can i do it ?

I managed to redeem my code and it started downloading...yipee... then after a long while I received an error and that I should check the log files. I have no idea where they are please assist.
I received the same error when trying to reinstall Riverview and that was after the launcher gave me notification that my game needs updating. 1.2G later for the 2nd time after I installed the recommended patch from this forum. I am running version 12.0.273.020001. Went onto chat and they gave me the link and told me to install the update1.42.130.0190xx. Would not install correctly because I have another more recent patch installed. I just need consensus on what patch to install and if my current one is not correct, how can I get rid of it. What do I do now???

- 12 years ago"You have entered an invalid code. Please check your code and try again." That's the error message I get on Monte Vista and the Chocolate Fountain. Hidden Springs worked perfectly. I'm hesitant to purchase Dragon Valley now...

I have now tried what you wrote 5 times! And every time it says : "Ups, we can't treat.." and I can't see what more there's written and I really don't know what to do. FIX THE PROBLEM! There's something wrong with Sims 3 Monte Vista! Especially when 9+ writes that they are having the same problem!

I entered my code for it and it worked so thanks!! I've been having a lot of problems so I'm so happy now that it works
and if its not working it may be your code because your either not putting it in right or its just not working thanks for the help!!!

This did not work for me! My code is INVALID! The stores will not take my disk back because it has been OPENED!!! And this is from a bundle pack.- crinrict12 years agoHero+

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.
