Hey there,
I would suggest you to uninstall The Sims 3 and all of its expansions from your computer and install them using your discs. After that, if you still get "No Disc" error, there is a mod that can help you bypass the CD authentication. As you already purchased the games, I don't think it will be a problem for EA. Just google Sims 3 No CD mod and download it.
If your issue gets resolved, please notify me.
Good Luck.
I think Yenial is right - try a fresh installation. In fact I would try just installing the base game first and see how that goes. It sounds as though you've been trying to install both from discs and from Origin, perhaps things have just got messed up. Make sure you do a clean uninstall (read BluebellFlora's guide here: http://bluebellflora.com/the-sims-3-on-a-mac/how-to-do-a-clean-uninstall-and-reinstall-on-a-mac/) to make sure you properly get rid of all stray files and can be sure of a fresh start.
Try installing the base game from disc and patching up to date, then take it from there.
