Sims 3 pets, pets are completely black

when i originally installed sims, I had to tweak the graphic settings some which stopped it from crashing. I haven't had a problem with it since, but with pets, the create a sim pets are totally black and even adding them into gameplay, theyre still completely black.

Pets is pretty demanding, so that's probably the issue here.

Im having the same problem. All of my pets just show up black.  But everything else has color. I just bought this laptop a month ago.

It's more of a netbook so it's below specs too. Just because you bought it new, doesn't mean it fulfilled the specs.

Pets is rater demanding on the graphics.

But when i very first used it it worked fine. The pets showed up individually and all there color was there

No i didn't. There was an update for the store, then it just showed them all black after that. I had even uninstalled the games and reinstalled it. But it still stayed black.

Pets is demanding and you could do real damage to your computer playing it, tbh.

Are you using custom content ?
