- Mine is doing the same thing. Is there any way to fix it?

Having the same problem here. I suspect the computer doesn't meet specs (although I thought I checked that before I bought it), so I am attaching the DxDiag file. Thanks for any help you can give!

Your processor is too low in specs. I doubt it can handle pets.
Did it run before ? Do you have other expansion packs ?

Heya, I'm also having this problem but it seems as if a few of the pre made pets (the ones other sims families own) turn up colored. Like a poodle I saw and a little foal. But all the pets I create are all black with no features... I hope to be able to fix this problem.. Thank you!
I have the same problem with my pets.....Does custom content make them black? or is it my graphics card?
Hi please look at this. All my things go wrong on sims with the graphics. The actual sims glow up on the body as if I am about to press on their body when I am doing the face etc. Also my pets are just plain black and I am really confused. I have done your steps though and here is my dxdiag.

@vick_kyndal2603 Could you please post your DxDiag? To post the DxdDiag select the 'Choose File' button below the post box and attach your DxDiag text file.
Thank you!

Mine aren't black but they have weird spikes coming out of them, EWW! I don't care because I think it will be okay when I get the new computer at the end of the month. Until then, I don't really want to play pets while it looks like that.

@kleineweber1 Could you please post your DxDiag as well? May be we can see something you can fix now 🙂
Thank you!
