Hi, i need help with my game. i recently removed my sims 3 folder and started fresh. Now when i go into game build/buy mode is really slow and laggy. cas TAKES FOREVER. even with compact on. it's hard to even play now. i do have the overwatch mod installed. but at this point nothing is working. Help?

Have you tried uninstalling Overwatch and playing without it?

Did you have lag problems before ? Just in build mode or also live mode ? Are you using custom content as well ?
Your graphics drivers could do with an update. Go to the amd webpage and have the site detect your card to get the newest drivers.
nope everything was running smoothly. but i had to start over cause my game wasnt starting past the black screen. yes i am but i have checked it and it is all fine.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
Try on a vanilla game first to see if you have the same issue.
i have already done a factory reset which led me to this problem in the first place.
But since you have mods and cc, you put stuff back. I would suggest trying on plain vanilla game without mods and cc to see if it works better.

So it runs fine without cc and mods ? Then you either have a bad download or just too many downloads.
Try putting the files back in groups until you get the issue back. Once you do, get rid of the files you put in last and try to narrow down what it is
