Sims 3 shows up in EA App as owned, but can't redeem Steam CD Key on Sims3.com
I purchased the Sims 3 on Steam, it's not a secondhand copy. When I registered for the Sims3.com, I couldn't use the CD Key and it says it was already used. The game shows up in my EA App library and says that it is owned, but it doesn't show up on my Sims3.com profile. However, badges that I earned in game show up on my profile for some reason. When I try to upload something in the Sims 3, the game says that I need to redeem the code.... but when I go to use the code, it doesn't work. I'm not sure what's causing this issue. If the EA App can already see that I own the game, why doesn't the Sims3 website? It's a minor inconvenience, but I can't upload my Sims, so it's a bit of a pain.

If your code is showing as already redeemed, we'd need the live support team to check your code and verify that you're logging in correctly- this isn't something we can check for over the forums as we can't access your specific account information.
