Sims 3 some cc won't show up in cas

Recently I decided I wanted to get back into the sims 3 so I wanted to download new custom content for my sims. I've looked up videos on how to install new cc for my game and followed everything precisely. When I open my game and go into cas only some of the cc shows up not all of it that I downloaded. I've tried to fix it multiple ways also by looking up how to fix it and nothing is helping. Is it my game or is something wrong with the folders I don't know. I really don't know how to fix it and why only some of the cc is showing up in game.
