Sims 3 store content won't install [MAC]

Nothing will download from the sims3.com to my launcher, I just bought a macbook pro and got rid of my PC. I reinstalled all my stuff packs and expansion packs but when I go to open them in origin they give me the product code to register the game every time.I then proceeded to try downloading all of my paid for content from the Sims 3 store and it will not download to my launcher. Someone please help me out here, I have spent so much money on all of my Sims stuff and I would enjoy if I could just play it.

    Hi

Try launching the game from the base game icon in Applications/TheSims3 folder, instead of from Origin.

To download Store items these days you need to have the Launcher open before you click download on the item in the Store or your Purchase History. Get the Launcher open, set it to the Downloads tab and then start clicking things in the Store. I just do a few things at a time. It may take quite a while between clicking to download and the items actually starting to appear in the Launcher, especially the first few.

Also ensure you are patched up to date, as some Store content requires later patch levels.
