Sims 3 University Life Save Error
I recently purchased the Sims 3 University Life. I also got a new computer. However, on my old computer, I had the same issue, so it is not the new computer that is the problem.
I cannot save my game. I have tried over five times to save a family I started and I either get the Error Code 12, it freezes and crashes, or it just won't save. It sits there on the save screen.
I cleared my game cache. It is not a custom mod/ .package file issue. I contacted EA last night but was disconnected because my game was taking too long to load and I was presumed to have left the conversation. So, in short, I've tried everything and I am convinced something is wrong with the game I received. My game does not save on any of the other families I have, and yes; I have deleted the .bad files and all that crap. Please help.

Error Code 12 is a pain, I suffered through about a year of it.

My best advice is to update your computer to a Windows 7 64 Bit - that's what worked for me.
