Sims 3 won't open. I own the game, but EA won't let me play.

What happens when the bug occurs? It says that I need a membership in order for me to play
What do you expect to see? The actual Sims 3 launcher
I've owned the game for years already. Same with the extensions. When I last played the game on March 8th, it was working fine. After that, I was unable to play the game anymore. I've cleared EA's app cache 2x, repaired the app 2x , repaired the game 2x.
I'm scared that if I uninstall then I won't be able to play anymore at all. I've contacted EA through live chat and they told me to buy the membership which is stupid. I emailed them earlier today for an answer and nothing back yet. Is there something I need to try again?
