I bought the Sims 3 3in1 from origin (it had Sims 3 base, high end loft stuff, and Sims 3 late night expansion pack.) I downloaded Sims 3 without a issue and started to play while the expansion pack downloaded.First problem I ran into is my Sims 3 launcher didn't update itself so I had to download the super patched just to install the expansion pack, but in the end it installed.Now my sims3 won't play while the expansion pack is installed! When I go to the launcher and press play the launcher disappear and the loading sign is at my cruser like the game is going to open, but then nothing happens. I have also tried opening the game by going to the file but nothing happens when I do that other. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling BOTH the base and expansion and I still get the same results! Can someone please help me!!??

Yea my problem was my laptop didn't have enough GHz typically your laptop needs at least 2.1 GHz to play most Sims games and my laptop only had like1.9 GGHz so it played the base game but not the expansion packs. And the only way to fix that is get a new laptop or pay a few thousand to get a new hard drive I believe :/

You don't have very high specs. I don't think the game runs on that with expansion. Did you check your computer with cyri: http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri to see if specs are ok ?

It's a pc. And if I uninstall Late night the bae game plays fine!

Do you have .net enabled: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2785188/en ?

Can you try disabling Norton to see if the game starts then ?

I assume all games show up in myGames ?

Yes my .net is enabled and I have tried without the Norton...it still doesnt work (yeah it does show up in my Games.)
