Sims resetting when using Diving board or ice skating

Since the release of Seasons I am unable to use a diving board or ice skate because my Sims reset. No matter where I try (my Sims house, neighbors house) I get the same result. Any ideas how to fix this? Or what would cause it? On Windows 7 64 bit. No error messages just a reset back about 10 feet from object.
