Sims won't move off couch, has no map tag and can't use cell phone

I sent my Sims to the university and had her sit down to read on her couch and now she won't get up. I can't click on her or use her cell phone and she doesn't have a map tag. Also, every few minutes the queue pops up like my Sims is just now arriving to the university. I have been having problems with the graduation ceremony too. My Sims walk in the annex but come out a couple seconds later with no diploma. I have a few mods installed and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling them and all of my games but it hasn't done anything.
