I just chatted with a game advisor and was told to uninstall Origin and then reinstall it...possibly corrupted files slowed the download? I will try it and get back to anyone who's reading.
Also I apologize for floating this message. I thought floating it would send it to the top...not into the blue section...
Floating only sends it to the blue section for you. It's a way you can have them up there for yourself.
Only heroes and CM can float threads for everyone.
Just an update, uninstalling and reintsalling origin then restarting the download of the game seemed to help a little bit! download speeds have picked up to about 100kb/sec although whether they will stay that way still remain to be seen. Thank you!
