the sims 3 64bit & metal won't even give me the option to install
Hi, i recently subscribed to ea play bcs the The sims 3 starter pack was included in it, it has both the 32bit and 64 bit version, since i have a macbook air that's updated to the latest ventura version i was mostly looking to use the 64bit version (32bit tells me it's unable to play on my computer as expected). But it just shows up greyed out, and it won't even give me the option to install it, it doesn't tell me it can't be played on my computer it just taunts me there barely out of reach.
Am i missing something obvious? i'm not really tech savvy and i've been trying to google this issue over and over again.
Pics included with how it looks for me.
@cjaerose EA Play is Windows-only, so you can't use it to play games on your Mac even if those games have a Mac version. If you want to play Sims 3, you'll need to buy a standalone copy. You may also need to remove your EA Play subscription, or at least remove Sims 3 from your library (right-click the game tile to see the option) before buying it.
Sims 3 is more expensive than a month of EA Play, for sure, but on the plus side, you only need to pay once.
