The sims 3 launcher not showing me all installed games

Hello, I have all of the sims 3 expansion packs and 2 stuff packs.  I have been trying to get them installed through origin and it works for all of them except my showtime limited addition, supernatural, and pets expansion.  It keeps saying:

"Download Error  We're sorry, Origin was unable to download your game. Please check your internet connection, or try again later.  Help us improve Origin by submitting an error report."

Everything else shows a green check box that it's installed.  However, when I open the sims 3 launcher it only gives me the option to check into the future, island paradise, late night, and town life stuff.  It doesn't show me any of the other expansions at all.  I just got this new pc with windows 11 and on my old one it shows up fine for all my expansion and stuff packs.  Any idea how to fix this issue?

    I've moved some posts into a more current thread for this issue so all the info is in one place.  I've also flagged this problem, but I don't know when it'll get fixed.  For anyone who hasn't tried both Origin and the EA App (I know some of you have), please do that first, and if some packs still won't download, please list them in a post here.

    @tilla1  Just to be precise, please list all the packs that won't download for you.  I'm not sure others looking will be able to see who you replied to.

    For me, it started on Origin.  What would not download was  *Night Life   *Generations   *Fast Lane Stuff   *High End Loft Stuff   *Outdoor Living

    I switched over to EA, and it was those same five.  I even tried going back and forth but it seemed like Origin didn't even want to exist once EA was installed.

     

    Then I spent a few $ to continue to troubleshoot:  I purchased a full digital copy of Night Life from Amazon which downloaded independently and went straight to the game Launcher (avoiding Origin and EA). It installed just fine and when I go BACK to the EA platform, that now shows I can 'Play' instead of the previous 'Download', so apparently EA  recognized THAT 'external' download/install.  THEN, I looked elsewhere for High End Loft Stuff (even spent a few more $), but when I got the key and link, the download process would take me straight to ORIGIN, where it said I already owned it, but it would still not download.  

     

    I quickly realzed that nearly all of the sites on the internet where you can either download for free or even purchase will ultimately take you back to the ORIGIN app/launcher, and the problem starts over.  It appears that Origin still has tenticles all over The Sims 3, and EA can't figure out how to weed it all out.

    I've also noticed that supernatural and dragon valley are just totally missing.

    @Missnicoleness  You're already posting in the thread I moved your previous posts to.  Supernatural is a problem for a number of players, as you can see in this other thread:

    This one might get merged with that, but I'll leave that up to someone from EA.

    You need to install Dragon Valley from the store, not from Origin or the EA App.  Here's the download page:

    If you can't download from that page while signed in, check your purchase history (Store > My Store Account > Purchase History).  DV should be listed there along with a Download button.

    It isn't the downloading error, the pack just doesn't show up at all in the EA app.

    Update! It has shown up, but won't download like the rest. I'll keep checking and play with whatever downloaded in the meantime.

    I'm the same @Missnicoleness I can see all my purchased packs in the EA app, but when I open the sims 3 launcher I'm missing 4 of the packs. 

    The four packs I can't see in the launcher are as follows:

    Ambitions

    University

    Diesel Stuff

    Movie Stuff

    I spoke with a gent from the EA help service earlier today, who assured me that the store team is looking into this matter to fix the issue relating to the problem. Hopefully there will be a fix update soon as he mentioned a lot of people are experiencing the same issues ☹️

    @Alexkm95  This issue has nothing to do with the Sims 3 Store, if that's what the EA support rep was suggesting.  It's usually caused by a bad product code, which in turn usually comes from buying from an unauthorized third-party seller.  Some of these sellers' keys are fine; others can work for weeks or months before EA accounting catches up and blocks the codes.

    The only way to find out whether this is your particular issue is to contact EA support (again, sorry) and specifically ask about the status of these packs, not only whether your account owns them but whether the product keys are active and valid.  If they're not, then the only thing you can do is have the support rep remove them so you can buy them again.
