The only difference on the system requirements of University Life is the the note about the CPU 'Game will not run on a PowerPC Macintosh' , and my Mac's Hard Dive is Macintosh HD. Other than that, I can't find any other reasons it won't install. So please, I'd appreciate a little help. Thank you.
Hi
Are you downloading the games from Origin? It's possible that your Uni Life download is corrupt/partial - it happens sometimes with Origin.
If you already have Origin on your Mac but are having problems with downloading or installing games, delete the client and download a new copy (this sometimes fixes issues with downloading). The latest version can be downloaded from here: http://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download
Additional advice on how to download games (thank you Tremayne for this tip):
When downloading from Origin, do NOT use the first install icon. Move your cursor over the game cover and click on the information (letter i) and then click on the install button from there. For some reason, downloads from Origin frequently become corrupted. Using the i reduces the chance of your download being corrupted. If you have already been unfortunate and have a corrupted download, then it is important to remove all traces of this before trying again, by doing a thorough, clean uninstallation first.
Are you running anti-virus software or any clean-up applications? If so, disable these, as they might be deleting files that Origin needs. A fast, stable internet connection will also help you.

Hi
Is this the first time you have had the game installed on this particular computer? Sometimes old installations can leave files behind and these can conflict with newer installations.
Is there any damage to the disc - any dirt or small scratches that might cause it to fail to be read?
Is your base game patched up to date (1.67)?
If you are installing within the same login as your base game then presumably you already have adminstrator rights on that profile so I can't think of any reason why one expansion should fail to install if the others are OK. So I wonder if it is a physical problem with the disc?
