The sims 3 won’t load after getting the new EA app

i have tried everything you can think of to try and get my game to work it just doesn’t. The way support sucks and won’t help me or told me to just report the bug. My game won’t even load, like when I click on it to open it the app closes for a second then comes back, there isn’t an error message or anything it just doesn’t open. I have tried like 3 or 4 troubleshoots and they don’t work. So if anyone has any ideas me let me know!!

  • @DaddyHailey1020  If you have a Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, please move it to the desktop and try again to play.  This will temporarily remove your saves and other user content, but that can be addressed later.  The point for now is to see whether the game works at all.

    If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

    Please also let me know what antivirus you use.

  • @puzzlezaddict I have know clue what antivirus I have and the dxdig I have tried it still doesn’t work, I just tried to pull it out of the folder and it didn’t let me

    @DaddyHailey1020  Please attach the dxdiag to a reply here.  You need to choose Reply, not Quick Reply, and click the Browse button next to the paper clip icon below the text field where you type your reply.

    Please also let me know what happens when you try to move the Sims 3 folder.  If you get an error message, either type out the exact wording or post a screenshot.
