TS3 ERROR Update 1.42.130 ( update ERROR: file not found! )

Hey Simmers! I need help updating my Sims 3. Everytime it has been updating, once its nearly finished a message pops up saying

"Update error: file not found". I have origin and have updated it, the patch is 1.42.130. The games I have are Ambitions, Generations, and Late Night

I also have deleted all Cache files, and uninstalled every single bit of CC I had to install it and still had the error. any thoughts on how to resolve it?

PLEASE HELP!

p.s - I tried installing the Super Patch and it didn't work either. do I need to re-install the base game?

    The super patch gives you the same error ? It usually does not care about stuff like this.

    Are you sure you downloaded the correct file. It should be 1.1 GB in size.
