Unable To connect with Sims3 Store

Hi I am new. to this but I am having an issue with getting into the Sims3 Store I was wondering if anyone could help me with it. I keep getting a 403 forbidden can someone help me with what to do? Would greatly appreciate it

  • @meradol  I tried the Store site just now, and it worked for me, so it's at least not (currently) down for everyone.  Please try a different browser, preferably Firefox if you haven't already.  If that doesn't help, please try a different device and/or a different network, for example your phone using data rather than your home wifi.  You can also set your phone as a mobile hotspot, still using data, and connect a computer to it.

    I'm having problems with signing into sims 3 store on launcher to can't get anyone at EA games to help me either!?

    No I have HP laptop brand new laptop I think I'm having problems because I asked EA games to change my email address been having problems ever since. EA games keeps closing my cases without helping me.

    @SapphireSharon  Try clearing Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data:

    and deleting the file labeled [your email].bin inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads.  These are where login data gets stored, and it's always good to clear both if any details change.

    If that doesn't help, would it be possible to go back to your old email address?  If not, maybe there's a workaround, but it might be easier to just use the old address.

    @meradol  Are you currently seeing issues with the Store site?  It's been down here and there for a couple months, but it does work most of the time.

    Can't get on store website either. I get a little Leary about messing with stuff I'm not familiar with and EA games keeps closing my cases without helping me. But I'll be offline for a little while due to moving. Just in case I don't answer you right away. But I will work on it when I come back online.

    @SapphireSharon  If neither the launcher nor the Store site works, the problem may be the different email address, although I'd still test the Store in a different browser.  (Firefox works well for me.)  That way, you don't have to clear the data in your current browser, since the new one won't have any of that information saved.

  • I have the same issue ! In my phone (iOS) I can access the Sims 3 Store but I can’t in my laptop (windows, I tried Firefox, Microsoft and chrome) and on the sims launcher ☹️ please help

    @zoselynvelvet  What happens when you in particular try to access the Store on your laptop?  Please describe it; there are a few different issues that can appear to be the same.

    Separately, does it help to set your phone as a mobile hotspot and connect the phone to that?  Make sure the phone is using data, not your home network.
