Unable to Install Sims 3 Store Content. Patch 2.2 Problem?

I am unable to install sims 3 store content. I bought Dragon Valley, and the Country Livin' packs.

My game version is the 1.50.56, and I have re-installed the patch 6 times, and cleared all my caches. I am also getting a script error when I open the launcher.

Any ideas? I've read every other help topic on this subject that I could find, but none of those solutions have helped me.

  • The store seems to think that you don't own the item.

    I would contact customer support so they can take a look at your account

    Choose a category, a game and a platform for the contact options to show up.

    If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

  • There's a log can in documents/electronicarts/thesims3 and is called Sims3LauncherLogFile.log

    Post the content here

    ----------------------------

    Make sure the following program are up-to-date (for the script error)

    - Origin
    - Java
    - Flash Player
    - Adobe Air
    - Windows


    If that does not help, try clearing the Internet Explorer Browser Caches.

    Origin, Java, Flash, Adobe Air, and Windows are up to date. I have also cleared my Internet Explorer caches, but the error still pops up. :/

    My game version is 1.57.62

    My launcher version is 6.5.1

    I recently moved my origin games folder to another partition on my harddrive.  I had to reinstall Sims 3.  Everything works, but I get a network error that says I don't have the latest version.  I've tried to download and install this patch v 2.2 many times, and it downloads but it doesn't look like it ever installs.

    I've tried all of the following solutions posted for this problem with patch v 2.2 with no improvement.

    Solution 1.) move the ContentPatch folder to the desktop

    Solution 2.) delete the download folder inside the ContentPatch folder

    Solution 3.)check the logger to see if there's an ownership problem. (my logger is blank)

    Please help.
