Sam_Measa Please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of both Sims 3 and the EA App, as described here:

If that doesn't help, please let me know what antivirus you use.
So I did as the page recommended, Twice. Uninstalling first the Sims 3, then the EA Launcher. Reinstalling both with a new download of the launcher from EA's main page...
As for my security software its McAfee.
