I just got a brand new Mac. I tried redownloading the sims 3 on my new computer and when I went to open the game I had to double click everything, I wasn’t able to rotate the camera, the eyelashes are glitched, I was unable to use terrain paint, unable to swim in the ocean, fish, or be able to pick up bugs in the world. I have put in thousands of hours into this game and it is my favorite game. I am devastated. This is the 64-bit version.

The only one that has a viable workaroud is the last: if you own Ambitions, buy a Harvester at the Consignment Store (or in BuyDebug) and have your sim wave it around in the vicinity of the insects.
For the camera rotation, how are you trying to do it, and what happens?
For the clicking twice, does this happen in windowed mode too?
