What is error code 8016

Every time i try to start Sims 3 i get a message saying "A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (8016)."

Sims 2 UC also has Securom.

Looks like you have skylake which means you need to update your BIOS

    I'm happy to hear that it works for you.

    Since I don't know what country you live in, it's a bit difficult but I would say, look for a charity of your choice and donate the money to them.
