Unfortunately it is highly unlikely that a Mac-specific version of CAW will be created now that The Sims 3 series is finished. Even the PC version never got out of Beta.
If you want to use CAW you could consider installing Windows on your Mac via Bootcamp. I know a few Mac simmers who do it that way.

I'm begining to think that EA is going to Snub MAC until they get out business. I hope they do get out the business. I heard the Windows prey on the Bootcamps with a hidden fee. Only if you have it on a MAC.

Ok, that's enough of this off-topic stuff, DanicingDan. Any more posts of this nature and you'll receive disciplinary action.

Hey!
As a Mac person myself I certainly don't think EA is anti-Mac but I do appreciate that sometimes there's frustration that results from PC appearing to get priority/on-time releases and Mac slipping behind or not getting certain releases. Sometimes this is for a range of reasons, and those reasons can include performance (or moreover, a lackof) on Mac versions.
I understand how frustrating it is to have to go down the Bootcamp route to play a game, but that's just part and parcel of gaming on a Mac. While companies have started to move in the direction of supporting Mac, the uptake is moderate and there's still a long way to go before PC/Mac are truly balanced for gaming. Whereas Windows has had the benefit of game development for absolutely ages, Mac is a relatively new platform and it takes time to get up to speed and achive the same. There are countless examples out there of different approaches in the gaming industry with respect of multiple platform support.
Have you considered using a Bootcamp and Parallels setup, with coherence enabled? For reasonably light-mid range games I find it's a suitable setup. Anything too stressful for my Mac and I'd have to restart in Bootcamp. I love my MacBook Pro but I have to remain realistic over it's capabilities and sometimes just admit I'd be better to have a PC rig too for certain games.
